This is funny as I put a lefty jackson neck on one of my import bodies and thought it looked cool until I realized that the fret markers were on the underside of the neck now.

If it were me, I would insist/half beg that Fender install brass markers at no extra cost and supply a certificate of authentication for the working time lost due to need to fix their error. If they refused, I'd beg some more, then do it myself. Tell them you are in a KISS tribute band and earn $300 a night each, seven nights a week. It is supposed to be a pro instrument. Tell them you will sue as it isn't fit for purpose because you have very poor eyesight. Damn if that was my neighbour, he'd kick up such a stink, he's get ten free guitars out of the deal, he's just like that. A right pain in the arse!
