Snagged this one a while back on the bay and it showed up today. oddity to say the least...
Came with a 13xx Jackson San Dimas plate on it everything else looks charvel...I am thinking employee project because I really doubt this was a parts mutt. Everyhing matches and honestly nothing looks like it has ever been off of this thing.
She arrived coated in grime. I had planned to use parts from this and part it out but it looks useable and I think im gonna keep it intact.
okay so after some clean up heres some shots.
The wiring though looking nice sounded craptacular. So that will be a job for this evening along with the neck. Heres a few shots as we go.
The wire only made the one indent so I assume this trem has never been off.
Under the slant single coil so it is a duncan stacked single of some sort.
after some of the clean up...cream ring and pickup cover now on the single..I think it needs a zebra bucker.
More as we go along..
The neck was painted and half sanded with what I assume was gravel. I am going to sand clean and oil it I think. I had originally wanted the neck for a project but I have a real hard time parting any of these.
