The blue 2H Charvel with Floyd Rose I have, I bought used but it's literally unplayed. The original owner left the receipt in the case which shows he paid a bit over $1700.00 new.
I believe I paid $1500 for my Star and that it was originally priced at about $1800. Mine didn't have any clear coat headstock issue, either.

http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/...oyalrjr/Mobile Uploads/0302021256a.jpg. I bought the guitar you were asking about. I paid $1030.00 shipped to Colorado and feel that I got a great deal. It has made me a firm believer in ebony fretboards. My next guitar WILL have ebony. I have 4 guitars. A MIJ Fender strat, fiesta red pro mod and a custom shop SG, and the neck on this one is my favorite. It feels like it has the same dimensions as the pro mod but is so smooth to the touch. No issues whatsoever, looks brand new. I would definitely buy another one, so keep me in mind Predator1 if you ever go to sell your black one. Lol.

i had bought like 5 of these back in the day and at the moment still have a couple. 3 out of 5 had the headstock issues. One went to tgreensl here on the forum that was a 2 hum maple the other was a flame that lifted that I am fairly certain is for sale on the music go round site.

I still have a bullseye as well that has a pinch of lift. each issue happened somewhere between 07-09 and none ever seemed to progress for me after that point. at a grand they are a steal imo and the graphics should go for more. I dont think they did many of the bullseye and there is one up on GC Online for like a grand that is smoking if your looking for one.

These 05 re-issues are really put together well. I own two and actually got both here. One as
A complete guitar and another just a body, but I ended up buying a USA Charvel strathead neck from an employee, and it's never been installed on anything, I'll be using that on the incomplete one I have. But out of these two one is Floyded and has a vtrem.the vtrem has an ebony board and the Floyded one will have a maple neck. The one with the Floyd is definately heavier. The Vtrem is a really smooth feeling guitar.
