The graphic does not cover the whole body (!) ...It fades to black halfway around each side and is BLACK on the back.

btw: This guitar (THE ORIGINAL) was painted by Glenn Matejzel.

Does George still own this guitar? Or does it belong to someone else now?

Don't usually quote myself, but I'm really curious about this. Does George still own the original shown in the pic above? If not, who has it?

No George does not own it....he sold it off in the 80's

It's owned by a local collector/player here in Los Angeles....and NO he won't sell it!!

Hey bud, so after george's, were there were 3 more, or 2 more? i know tracy had one, i had another that went to you, that went
to whomever you sold it too, and the third one has me confused. if anyone knows the deal it's you my friend.

I saw one of those when my girlfriend was watching Brett Michels Rock of love or whatever the hell his "reality" show was called. he had a wall of guitars in his living room, and one was a charvel sub camo. now I cannot be 100% certain it was a charvel, but it DID have a charvel shaped pointy reverse headstock. so I am assuming its a copy? reissue?

Sure it was your girlfriend watching. j/k

From what I've read, that's not even his real house. Just a place they used for that stupid show. So who knows who those guitars actually belong to. Could be part of some rental company or whatever.

And thanks to the other dude for answering my question. I'm always curious about what happens to guitars that you saw back in the day and never see anymore. Figured George must have sold it, lost it, destroyed it, or something.
