I have 6702. It's been my main live guitar since the stork delivered it to my home. An outstanding guitar. This winter it's had some environmental struggles with the neck but nothing that couldn't be managed.

They must be good guitars because I don't remember ever seeing one pop up for sale. I would love one of those with the regular headstock.

I'm not familiar with this run, what does it look like?

Pics - There was one exactly like mine in a recent thread in this section. Like 5th post (w/ a red checkered too)

10 were reg heads, 10 were revs. Small batch run. All signed and numbered by Mike Shannon.

Yes and the color green was taken from the mike and ikes candy box. I chose double logos Gold over Black to make the series slighlty different from other stuff. The puckup was a Duncan Custom

I'm intrigued by this Mike and Ikes green bit. Was that what Dweezil originally used as a color reference as well? Is that the same as "slime green"?

Yes I believe thats where they got the original green color from. At the time we did these we were not allowed to call the Dweezil Greenies or anything because thwere could be no affiliation with the artist.

Here's one of the original threads when they were being built. Each Guitar came with a leather binder of the run being built.

I have to say, that guitar is pure simplicity at it's best. I bought an 88' JEM77FP about a year after the Greenie. The JEM is a work of art and full of features but the Greenie CS kills the JEM in tone, brutality, sustain, speed.

My Greenie has a small 50 cent size section of paint that is lifting on the back, near the neck plate. It has a bad case of pick scuffs, a couple dings, and another weird blemish that appeared over time. Not complaining. It's all mileage I've done. The stories it could tell..

I wanted to jump on that next run of sub camo's but we all know how that became sorta messy. I steered clear.

Why did the original poster refer to it as a "double logo"? I see one logo on the headstock, what am I missing?

I dont have a pic but I believe its a normal black logo with a bigger gold one on top to give it a gold outlined look.

It's faint but the logo is doubled, with the gold logo being offset and behind the black logo, giving it a drop shadow appearance.
