those dweezil green double logo's from a few years ago

I bought mine used and at a great deal in 2008 (IIRC). It used to belong to Vander. The planets were aligned for me. Same day I bought it, I found a green G&G case from a dealer on eBay. It was my first CS Charvel. Plays amazingly.

I also blame my Dweezil Charvel for my addiction to green finishes. Between this one, the production model and the Absinthe Frost Soloist limited, I'm totally greener than the Incredible Hulk. In my case, the incredible 'Bulk'.

Yes I believe thats where they got the original green color from. At the time we did these we were not allowed to call the Dweezil Greenies or anything because thwere could be no affiliation with the artist.

Here's one of the original threads when they were being built. Each Guitar came with a leather binder of the run being built.

I dont have a pic but I believe its a normal black logo with a bigger gold one on top to give it a gold outlined look.

I thought both of the logos were the same size?

There were a couple of early guitars that had offset gold on black as well as a black on black if I remember correctly?

Wasn't there quite a bit of back story behind this stuff?

I remeber buying Dweezes' HABD, and just staring at that color. Ya'know..it kinda matched his eyes on the cover. That's how I intially thought he picked the color. Anywhoo, I vagley remember an interview about coming up with that color. I don't remember Mike & Ike as a referance...slime I think. Same sick green difference tho.

Having a bad day - AWESOME! I dubbed it from a buddy when it first came out. Later I bought my own album. At about the same time we all got our CS Dweezil's, I bought the CD on eBay. I suggested to friend's cover band with a female singer to do Let's Talk About It. They had never heard it. I liked the Yacht song with Bobcat too. Still cracks me up hearing him answer the phone.

I had My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Momma and Confessions. I think he definitely became a better songwriter on those later albums. They had way more sit in's on them too.
