Okay, so it's an SD1 San Dimas, not a SoCal. They made both models in the slime green. So are you going to put a pickguard on it per your Green Meanie comment? Or just go with some colored pickups? Oh yeah, enjoy it! I used to have one with a EVH Frankenstein pickup in it and I loved it!

I pulled the trigger on a NOS Black USA SD1 the other day, already getting the parts together to customize it. I am switching all the hardware to chrome, adding a black/creme zebra Warren DeMartini RTM bridge/59 bk/creme zebra neck but keeping the rings black, a Switchcraft toggle and eventually a OFR 1984 model trem, that one is going to have to wait a bit though...

So I purchased my first charvel finally. A SoCal USA in slime green no pick guard. Gonna do a green meanie theme!

Hey congrats man...how strange, that's the same one I got! The only thing is that it has 2 green pickups. Gonna swap them out..if you're interested in them, let me know. Not sure what type of pups are in there yet, I think dimarzios tho.
