So I picked up a US Production San Dimas on ebay, looks new as per seller is pretty much new. It's the wildcard fiesta red with a (1) Humbucker, chrome hardware, and rosewood board. Should be here on Tues or Wed! I picked up a one of the new SKB Charvel logo molded case from a guy on CL so I am set. fingers crossed it all works out!!! I plan to put a Duncan SH6 zebra or a Dimarzio SD in the bridge. Only down side is what to do with my Ferrari red Model 2? I should just keep both!

I just parted one of those out.. I thought about a refin but i couldn't bond with the mediocre neck on that model..

Just got here, yes it more salmon than red. Neck feels great. Need to adjust the neck relief, too much for me. So now need to decide on a zebra Duncan sh6 or double cream dimarzios distortion.

we have a winner, yep thats what I was thinking, so much for my first US made charvel. You would think they would have drilled the correc sized hole to begin with. I will contact the seller in the morning for return ; (

You're going to return it for that? Is this number 4? For the sake of all the sellers losing money on shipping (and yourself if you're not getting reimbursed for your returns) you should stick with buying after you see a guitar in person.

I was actually watching that guitar but had just bought a Wild Card #7.
