So I guess I'm confused, what's the deal with those anyway? Charvel produced the catalogs showing it, but never released it at all? Or, they released it in limited quantities and discontinued it?

After the NAMM appearance, Charvel and the original graphic artist couldn't come to terms. So the guitar was shelved from production.Comment

I doubt that was a Charvel. Aside from Warren's, the only new Charvel French was the NAMM model that Sean now owns. If you saw a used one at GC, could have been a GMW replica. Even the GMW versions are few in number and hard to find.Originally posted by rhoadsfan11 View PostComment

So Charvel never made ANY Frenchy replicas back in the 80's? That's hard to imagine, considering how many vintage Crossed Swords, Rising Suns, etc there are floating around._________________________________________________

It's possible Charvel made some back in the day but I've never seen one. I have seen a few GMW replicas where the owners have added a logo to the headstock. The average person would never know the difference if you swapped out the neck plate also.
