    Hey guys, haven't had time to post here for a while, thought I'd show you my latest (errr, well, actually it's been done for a year!)...

    Alder body, Chandler, neck, Gotoh hardware, Tonerider pickups, CTS/Switchcraft/Orangedrop guts...waddayou think?

          Did you paint the control cavity? is it plastic? Did you do an prep besides scuff sanding it?
          Looks really nice.

            Really cool! And the paint really ads a classic vintage look. Chrome hardware might have enhanced the Classic vibe, but I like the black! Like the zebras too..

                Looks really nice.
                It is painted 1/8" plywood - the guy that shapes these bodies throws one in with every body. Easy to match to the body, but you have to be careful screwing it down, as it will crack the finish easily...

                The finish was sand/sealed, sanded flat, binding taped, primed, shot with a can of ReRanch Seafoam Green nitro, and then cleared with 2 cans of Watco clear glossy nitro - took me better than a year to wrap this one up start to finish!

                            I stand and play daily now that I'm gigging weekends...send it over and I'll do all the standing with it for ya and save you the yearly hassle
