'05 Reissues?

Man a lot of those limited run Jacksons he had looked cool, but I can't get past black sharkfins on maple and a natural finished pointy headstock lol.

How does this one look to you guys? I know it's not maple, so I dunno...but I can't lie when I say I really dig the bullseye finish on these guitars. (No offense to that flame one, it's cool too just not as much my style as a bullseye)

I know this one has been relisted a couple times at that price and nobody has bid.

The reissue necks are based off an (ex?)member's own SD Charvel pointy neck, aren't they? I remember there was a bunch of hoopla about that when they were produced, as well as the first batch of plates which were made by another (ex?)member...

I don't really remember the details, I don't really pay attention to much of the CJ stuff except the stuff I like. lol

I have a 2006 Bengal Tiger Stripe and I love it! I sold a Red Ghost Flames one a few years back to get a one off Charvel.

It was a fine axe but it needed a lot of neck shim on that one to get a good action which I really think hurt some of the resonance on it.

In Dan Erlewine's book de-coupling the neck from the body could be a good thing for tone. I guess it all depends on the tone you are after. After all, some people like the Beetles and Some like Maiden.
