Sea Sick Green Charvel Vintage Look

I just recently got a sea sick green Charvel and thought about giving it the look of an older Charvel. I am sure this has been discussed but I could not find threads completely discussing this.

What should I change out to give it this look?

Pickups- cream or zebra?
Pickup rings- cream, black or gold/brass?
Hardware- black, chrome or gold?

If you're going for the older look you should put cream pickups and rings with chrome hardware. It will look smokin!

Zebras might look cool, too. With that body color, though, i'd go with all cream.

I did find a picture of one with the zebra pickups, cream rings and black hardware. I like the cream pickups...I still do not know which way the black and cream bobins go on a zebra or reverse zebra and if this changes between the bridge and neck pickup?

Zebra = black in the middle, cream on the outside.

Reverse zebra = cream in the middle, black on the outside.

That washed out colour looks great with cream pups and ring IMO with brass knob and a worn cream/gold diamarzio Les Paul type brass toggle and vintage gold tuners. I know what you mean though. I'm putting together a white pro mod and I'm going vintage but the original plan was to go with black hardware and maple pointy dot neck...which unfortunately looks equally as good as does the stock white USA Charvel 2008 model with zebras.

I thought about the brass hardware but was not sure about the tremelo.

I would do what has been mentioned...creme pups/rings and chrome. Would look fantastic!
