I'm curious too. I've been thinking of ordering a Koa Carvin C66. I wonder if this will make it beyond the "prototype stage"?

On a side note, He's gone from Mahogany to Basswood to Koa. Hmm? Maybe he should try Padouk next.

Yeah, absolutely! I didn't know about him until the Dream Theater auditions and he was amazing there. Then later I realized I had seen some videos with him playing with Paul Gilbert.

Guthrie's playing is unreal! This was a great move for Charvel, you watch him noodle around on that Charvel and it makes you think "Damn, I want one!"

That guitar has pretty much all the features i hate in a guitar: traditional Strat shape, vintage bridge, HSH pickup configuration, chrome hardware, natural finish, dot inlays... Apart from that, it's a pretty sweet axe.
