Does anyone know how many of each WD model were made ? Was it limited to a certain number or are they still cranking them out if the demand is there ?

Bare Knuckles are really the best pickups for every type of guitar and tone in my opinion. Tim Mills the CEO/chief winder is a guitarist himself and knows his stuff, I would send an inquiry to BKP and see what they say about a suitable substitution.
I have JB's from 1993 and they sound way different from newer ones. Warrens EQ has been stated and you might be able to run an EQ into your amp to beef up the bass?

I'd have to disagree on the BKP's. Sorry, but my experience with them has NOT been positive. I will agree with you on the JB's are hit or miss, with the older one's sounding better to my ears. Lastly, lepard, I'd say put whatever works best in that WDM. A guitar that fine deserves to have the best suited p'ups for your playing. I yanked out the p'ups in my Charvel CS Star. Glad I did. lepard will be, too IMO.

          +1
I can't imagine there is anything about a Bareknuckle that makes them so much more expensive than a Duncan or Dimarzio (or something else, you know what I mean). If you can't get something from a pickup under $100 that you are happy with, maybe guitar just isn't your instrument.

Interesting. Thanks for that pic. Check it out, he has 2 other graphics stratheads that I don't think most of us have ever seen. Lookes like a Nagel and a black Frenchie ???

Not quite a Nagel or a French....the black strathead was his "synth" guitar:

& the other was his "harlequin masks" strathead:

                  Awesome axe bro! Congrats!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.
