NGQ: USA San Dimas

NGQ=New Guitar Quarter! I've been threatening to post some pics of this for a while now. I got it NOS from Ed Roman out in Las Vegas. I proceeded to customize it as soon as I got it.

Changed all hardware to chrome
Floyd Rose 1984 Edition
added brass knob to match fine tuners
Has Warren DeMartini Signature(Non RTM model, regular spacing) in the bridge and a 59 in the neck position. Got black Diamrzio slanted pickup rings.
Added Switchcraft pickup selector

Thanks guys! I've owned a bunch of San Dimas and a few So Cals, this is definitely my favorite, but I do wish I still had the tangerine So Cal and the original white with chrome San Dimas!

I like it. I have a plain old black San Dimas I want to do something too also.

Here is what I did with my USA Pro Mod. First, I started with a black 2 hum:


I immediately tore it apart and sent the body to Mike Learn:


Mike Learn did the graphic in glow in the dark and I got this back:


The bridge pickup was swapped to a Bare Knuckles Pain Killer and pickup covers were added and painted by Mike Learn to match the graphic:

It was a conscious effort to not do that, but I have been thinking if I did it, I'd change the pickups to all cream as well.
