Military Man from the After The War tour in 1989. This is the white Charvel San Dimas Strat head that previously had a Charvel maple board neck that was replaced with this rosewood boarded Jackson neck, great jam after the first solo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYHtOOidaPUP
Problems with the tracking on that video halfway through, here is the best bit again the improvisation that Gary occasionally did around the beautiful first solo:

For the many Gary Moore fans here let me share loads of my pictures including scans of tour programs, ect. which I have first posted to the net.
Here is signed by Gary and Neil Carter photo from the After The War promo period.
Neil git this pic signed for me and shipped it to me. It is one of my most treasured items.
When Gary and Neil were rehearsing for the 2010 tour Neil used DVD's and CD's that I had sent him before my interview with him in 2009.
Gary actually used these to relearn the Wild Frontier material as no one had a VCR lol!
That meant a lot to me too and my dreams of Gary playing the Celtic rock material again became a reality!

Here are some photos of the famous Dunluce Castle in County Antrim north of Belfast which inspired many a song from gary. Also the Giant's Causeway which is a collection of flat stones on the coast below the castle referred to in Irish mythology as the bridge of the Gods:

Harry Shapiro, author of Jimi Hendrix Electric Gypsy amongst other rock biographies was chosen to write Gary's biography by the Moore family trust.
I have been in contact with Harry for quite some time as it had been my long time dream to write Gary's autobiography. This was back in 2007 when he was still alive. My offer was appreciated but Gary had no interest at that time to be involved in such a project.
Still Harry asked for my writings which are very passionate on the subject of Gary's music and playing.
Those who are members of The Les Paul Forum and My Les Paul Forum are well versed in my writings about Gary. I defended him quite actively especially on The Les Paul Forum as there were a concentrated group of haters there who slagged off everything Gary did, his appearance his playing nothing was off limits.
I was relieved to find other Moore supporters there as the comments were beyond the pale to put it mildly.
Gary was besides Hendrix earlier my greatest guitar influence.
Gary was a gear head and quite often was on the leading edge of the latest effects and equipment.
He taught me about so many things and I copied him but it was such a good influence it made me a better player.
Hope all enjoy the pictures!
Cheers

I did a search as well, looks like the threads were removed. I know that particular person had nothing to say once Gary had died. There was a lot of negativity trust me, glad you didn't have to see it!
Emerald
your pretty knowledgable on gary's gear... on his Fiesta Red Strat..
what would be the proper 'color and ply " pickguard should
be used if one was going to do a replica of it
I'll have to look up the proper Dupont original paint code but Fiesta Red is a 1961 rosewood slab boarded neck with the wt/blk/wt triple ply 11 screw pick guard.
I have some Photobucket pics of a Fender Custom shop 'tribute' guitar that is uniquely similar to Gary's
Here is some vintage 1989 Moore After The War with the late Cozy Powell on drums, didn't make the tour due to a motorcycle accident. Gary is playing his treasured Stripe 1959 LP Standard #9-2227.
This is the guitar I was talking about built by Masterbuilder John Cruz back in 2007, I don't know if I could save the other pics I'll keep looking..
Give me moore time to find the pics.

Emerald,
I'm sure you already know, but didn't see tho mentioned here: Kirk Hammett now owns Greenie. What's cool is that he plays it live.
Been a fan of Gary for quite a while, but disappointed I didn't pay attention to his music until the mid-2000's. Regret never being able to see him play live. RIP.
