Jake is going to be on TMS next season. His segments taped last week...he's a guest on one episode and sits in on guitar on two others. Looks like he's playing the new sig model with the bridge P-90.

I thought I'd come in and let you in a little. The guitar that Jake is playing is obviously a bit different from his original. As Toe jam has pointed out... (love typing that name)... the original was a Fender... it was heavily modded by the Charvel custom shop. We have been working with Jake for his upcoming musical venture. In talking with him, his tastes have changed as far as his guitar needs. We built him a guitar that fits those needs but cosmetically fits what he loved about the old guitar. Make sense? as someone else pointed out... this pick guard has a P90. You will most likely see some variations on that as well. NOW, if we do a sig guitar, and I'm not saying we are... ;D it will be most likely the one everyone has asked for over the years... and quite possibly two of the other colors as well. Nothing is announced, nothing is solid, just wanted to give you guys, the JCF'ers (is that how you type that?) a bit of a peak behind the curtain. Why? because most of you are pretty cool about stuff. alright...here goes the flames!

Giving it some thought, while I identify the white one over the other ones with Jake, the purpleburst is the one that speaks to me the most.

Thanks for the inside info. Even if it doesn't pan out, as fans of the brand, we appreciate just knowing the possibility is there.
