I saw that metal show and he was playing a white Charvel that looked to similar to the one he played on Bark at the moon. He struggled with alcoholism for quite a while but he is sober now and doing a lot better according to what he said on the show. His playing when he was the guest musician on that metal show was decent but not like he used to play. Granted he was improvising and not allowed to play any real songs because of publishing bullshit. I was pissed when he was interviewed because apparently OZZY and his mega-cunt of a wife screwed him out of all of his publishing rights. The album Bark at the moon says written by Ozzy Osbourne!! Yeah!!! When did Ozzy learn to shred like that. Gimme a fucking break you thief.

Also how can you be sure about the buyout? It's not like it'd be the first time Ozzy's wife screwed someone in the music industry. The whole story sounded shady to me. Buyout out of publishing rights or not he should still be credited for what he wrote.

I have an old Ozzy guitar legends magazine and from what I remember it was a buyout, but still, I think Ozzy did take advantage of a lot of his musicians. At the time Jake was really young and probably didn't know all the in's and out's of the music business and got taken advantage of. Like Ozzy has ever written a killer guitar riff... Seriously

According to the interview I posted above, It says it was a buyout but it was pennies compared to what was owed to Jake and Bob. From what I gathered from the interview they were owed about 10 million GBP's which is about 15.5 million U.S. in royalties and touring revenue. Sharon and her father swindled them out of the money by perjuring themselves. If you read the interview it says her father was going to testify on Jake and Bob's behalf and then she and her father suddenly reconciled after 20 years and the father said Jake and Bob bribed him to testify and that the statement he gave to their lawyers was false. They're trash! And after reading this I'll never buy another Ozzy record again. Fuck her and Him! Fucking bastards. They're the same as the guy who sells you a guitar and sends you bricks in the box. I had always thought that Ozzy at least wrote his own words but this is shameful. This is probably why George Lynch got the boot and they let Jake in I'll bet. George was a good bit older and knew his way around the business and he would never have gotten screwed like this. I think in that interview Jake E Lee and Lee Kerslake are getting confused. I remember Jake taking a buyout when he left of something like $300k.
Sabbath gave Ozzy the boot for being a drunk drug addict. Now I think Ozzy owns the name Black Sabbath which he did not before(reason for them touring under the other name with Dio).

Yeah, I've lost a lot of respect for Ozzy. If it wasn't for the talented musicians that played on his records he would be no where. I remember reading about how Randy was ready to take off, right before he died. It was an interview with Ozzy, where he said Randy had enough and was going to go to music school to learn flamenco guitar or something like that and he was going to leave after they finished the tour for "Diary of a Madman."

I bet Randy saw how much of a greedy fucker Ozzy and Sharon were, that's probably more of the reason why he wanted to leave.

Sharon learned from the best of the worst, her father, Don Arden - I can't stand that gash, she even fired Alex Skolnick who had been hired as Ozzy's guitarist and did one show and then was fired for no apparent reason.

Crazier shit has happened! Look at how Clapton got off the helicopter S.R.V died on seconds before it took off. Dude notices an up and coming kid who can out play him in the same genre and all of a sudden the helicopter crashes. Just another one of those crazy theories.
