The J-50B was installed in the neck position of a 750XL.I replaced both original pickups with Gibson Burstbuckers 1 & 2.To me the Burstbuckers brought the 750XL more into Gibson vintage territory.Maybe I should try the J-50B in the bridge position.Should sound killer in the LP or the 750XL

Yes. Too hot for the neck I would think. I have the BB1&2 in a couple of historics, so no complaints there. I have a Full Shred set in my 750XL and it's pretty potent. The Meyhem set was way too much.Originally posted by HOTRIFF View PostComment
