How does the skunk stripe get on there?

      How would you add a fretboard to another fretboard? A one-piece neck means that fretboard and neck are already one piece; therefore, you'd need to put the rod in through the back.

        I never considered the fretboard one of the pieces of the neck, but I know what you mean. I consider standard Jackson necks one piece (even though there's the scarf joint) in comparison to something like a 5 piece Ibanez neck where there's 3 pieces of maple, 2 pieces of walnut AND a fretboard.

          True, a lot of people don't consider the fretboard as part of the neck, especially if it's ebony or rosewood on maple. If the board is maple on maple, it can be separate or one piece. I knew what Chuck was getting at when he asked how would they install a truss rod in a one-piece maple neck.

            Some companies like esp ltd use decals and clear over them my st203 had one I peeled it right off
