Very nice guitar. I've always had an affinity for sea foam green.

Thanks all, still loving this one! I'm guessing the previous owner had the frets leveled, because I've never had a USA San Dimas that played so well with low action and no buzz!

The rubber cement, or whatever it was, came out effortlessly, and the new bushings when in really tightly, so all is good there.

I checked, and it turns out the nut is an R2 (not the wider R3). I guess someone wanted the strings away from the fretboard edges? I'll put an R3 on there and it should feel even better!

As I see more Seasick Green Charvels for sale, I'm thinking mine doesn't look like the same color. Wonder if it was refinished at some point to more of a true Surf Green??

Don't know about a refin, but I do know it looks awesome with the double creme!

Indeed! I keep coming back to look at it. Definitely one of my favorites. There's just something about light green and light blue strat-type guitars I've always loved.

Beautiful guitar! To me it looks more Sea Foam green than the Sea Sick but I like that pastel kind of color. The creme pups match it perfectly! You got a keeper there!

Yeah, thanks, it IS a cool color, original or not! I also like pastel Strat body colors - light colors highlight the classic shape of the body better.

When I got it, it had gold screws, and gold fake Floyd posts with smaller bushings that were glued in with rubber cement? It also had a Gotoh Floyd with D-Tuna, which I removed in favor of my 80's Floyd in mint condition. I replaced the posts with chrome Schallers and changed the inserts to the proper sized Floyd ones. I also changed the pickup ring screws back to silver (stainless).

Here she is. I should mention how perfect this guitar plays, super low action, no fret buzz, no fret wear, only a few tiny dings on the super shiny paint - best USA San Dimas I've tried to date!

I know this is an old post but damn that is pretty!

I have two USA Seasick Charvels and I'm thinking one of them need this treatment.

That is awesomely sick... I wouldn't change anything about it.
Never too late to dig up a beauty like that!
