nice wood , i bet they play great ? i never liked that headstock myself ! i prefer pionty's , and regular stratheads . not dissing other style's like the jackson 3 on a side pull up pionty's i belive they were called ? see ya , alz / 2013 ---peace to all , rock on jcf ! z

That's the infamous "ballsack" headstock, as I've heard it called here.

I'm a big fan of the ballsack. I have several. It's hated and thus undervalued. But the examples I've pointed out here are something far more sinister....

Fakes made out of top-shelf materials?
Legitimate Charvels, but with manufacturing variations?

I still don't quite get it, but will continue to obsess about it.
