                It is all wood, no body putty or bondo filler. The sealer coat is about the same as it would have came from factory. It sounded great.

                  I'd say the guitar got off pretty lightly. At least it didn't get routed with a screwdriver, which is what my buddy did to his brother's '74 Strat so that he could put a DiMarzio PAF into it back in the day ;-)

                  Come to think of it, he gave the screwdriver treatment to his Les Paul Deluxe as well so that he could replace the bridge mini with a full sized humbucker.

                  Yup. There's reason why straight unmolested old guitars are fairly rare, even for models where they made them by the tens of thousands!

                      We've all seen Mike's handy work with an airbrush but he also does FANTASTIC work on restorations where the body might need some extra TLC before it can even be painted! He did an awesome job for me a few years ago on an abused Charvel that I found in a local store. This one looks great!
