  • Please ID this reverse headstock neck - Mahogany or Brazilian Rosewood

    Hey everyone,

Could someone please help me i.d. this reverse headstock neck. It seems legit but I don't know enough about USA models to properly identity what it could belong too.

    Thanks!

Looks like mahogany - maybe with a brownish stain?- and a rosewood fretboard. The white logo (I think?) and Grover tuners make me think fakery, though.

For sure looks like mahogany to me. Ditto on the Grover tuners...

Charvel USA logos were either gold or black.
I'm thinking aftermarket but a nice mahogany neck for sure.
Pics of the 12th fret dots please
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Yeah, it's gold to me. This is an ebay ad so I don't have any more photos to post. I just needed to confirm that it was real before plunking down some cash. It's mated with a generic "V" body that doesn't look legit so that's why I'm concerned.

There's a slight chance it could be walnut but I doubt it. Chances are it's Mahogany because It's not Brazilian rosewood.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Was this a production neck then?

Total fake. 12 fret dot spacing is wrong, and no skunk stripe.

Not a Charvel anything. LOL. Yeah, I was just addressing the neck. But the rest of that is pure mutt.

Looks like an All Parts neck to me.
                            Refin'd parts mutt.
