    NGD - '05 Charvel 5A Masterbuilt Prepro Specs

    Just unpacked this beaut when I got home today and wow do I love 'er. She's an '05 built to prepro specs by Mike Shannon for a vendor (hence no serialized plate). It's got a 5A flame maple bound flattop (my cellphone pics sort of show that), Northern ash back, a lightly figured maple neck, and what appears to be a Dimarzio Super D. This makes #10 in Charvel stable. Thanks to Hellraiser for hooking me up.

    Wow! Just wow! I am speechless. That is one hell of a book matched top and that thing is gorgeous bro! Congrats and HNGD!
    This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

            Me too which is why I pretty much jumped on this one when it was offered. To me it this guitar has sort of a Western vibe to it. I may stick my Duncan '78 in it.

                        It's funny I was just going to post about that but I don't want guitars with just 21 frets. I can go from 22 to 24 frets then back to 22 but 21 really messes me up. It does have a 1 5/8 nut and I think (haven't measured yet) a 2 3/16" heel. The aluminum backplates are also not true prepro spec either but I like them nonetheless.
