I've played the guitar in the video, or at least the same model and the neck feels like an ibanez. the guitar sounded thin. I'm not saying USA dean's suck. I had a USA Soltero and it was great. I have respect for their custom shop, but the 84 is crap.

Being a pretty big Mustaine fan myself, I have yet to play any of his signature Deans more or less the USA versions. He has SO much cheap shit out right now its sickening, probably why I'll never check one out. His Jackson's were great/high end, and both the ESP and LTD signatures were great guitars as well.
        Gear:

        Jackson DK2M (07')

        Jackson PS-4 (99'?)

        Charvel Model 5 (86')

My 6 has 24 frets and a cleaner neck joint than an angled bolt on.
Any way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?

I'm at a loss for appropriate words. While I personally like 24 fret boards, I never thought anything less meant it was an inferior guitar.
I think my all time favorite line was; "try that on a Charvel."
KV DM PRO, SLSXMG, RRXMG, DXMG, LP P90 Goldtop_GSP1101_RM4: JF SL-OD100_Randall RT2/50_Peavey 4x12 cab
I'm loving the Jaded Faith mods. Going Egnater Dual mod route: Voxless, SL-OD100, Brahma #39, QuickMod GT

Angled neck plates are for girly men with girly hands. I'll stay with my big blocky neck heels.

This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

What's he on about with pulling the neck for a truss rod adjust? Looks like a standard Fender bullet hole on the current ones I've seen. 6, Surfcaster, and my RR PS-3T

He's correct. The Charvel Pro Mods are adjusted at the heel. The truss rod has a plug at the headstock, but there's no hole in there to fit a wrench. Kinda stupid, but that's how Charvel does it with strat headstocks.

Damn him and his video...now I got GAS for a Dean 84 custom shop USA made by Dean in their custom shop. In the USA, no less. It's got Dean pups, 24 frets, OFR, ebony board...oh my!!!
Actually, my canoe paddle looks very similar to this Dean. Maybe I just throw some Duncans on the paddle, lace her up, and plug her in...

Is this guy really a dealer? I wouldn't buy a pic from this douchebag. Further in his comments He compares a zebrawood top production dean. To a charvel Solid zebrawood top and solid rosewood neck. And says heres the same guitar at twice the price. Idiot!!!
