I've played the guitar in the video, or at least the same model and the neck feels like an ibanez. the guitar sounded thin. I'm not saying USA dean's suck. I had a USA Soltero and it was great. I have respect for their custom shop, but the 84 is crap.

Being a pretty big Mustaine fan myself, I have yet to play any of his signature Deans more or less the USA versions. He has SO much cheap shit out right now its sickening, probably why I'll never check one out. I'm at a loss for appropriate words. While I personally like 24 fret boards, I never thought anything less meant it was an inferior guitar.
I think my all time favorite line was; "try that on a Charvel." :think:

What's he on about with pulling the neck for a truss rod adjust? Looks like a standard Fender bullet hole on the current ones I've seen. 6, Surfcaster, and my RR PS-3TAny way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?Comment

He's correct. The Charvel Pro Mods are adjusted at the heel. The truss rod has a plug at the headstock, but there's no hole in there to fit a wrench. Damn him and his video...now I got GAS for a Dean 84 custom shop USA made by Dean in their custom shop. In the USA, no less. It's got Dean pups, 24 frets, OFR, ebony board...oh my!!!
