Hello everyone,
I play a 2013 San Dimas Hard Tail in Candy Apple red. Rosewood finger board Humbucker Single coil Stack configuration.
As nice as it played it was really light feeling. The body felt almost like a hollow body. You could really tell the difference in weight from the neck to the body. I don't ever remember such an experience with any guitars I've owned over the years.
It also had some paint flaws on the back which looked like mild stress cracks but not through the clear coat.
I'm just curious about the quality of these guitars. At the price points I would assume they would be slightly better built feeling and looking. They look amazing with the cool colors and such but the quality is in question.
Thoughts?
