Looks like possibly a swamp ash body? If so, Charvel, please give it a decent trans-top color and clearcoat, and then sign me up for one.

Very cool. Not a fan of the Floyd without fine tuners/no locking nut. That's what bugs me about his sig. Fantastic guitars though.
The above guitar would have been cooler without the input jack on the face a la Fender. Its a Charvel for a reason. Am I right or amirite?!

Meh. With a pickguard, I think the jack placement looks fine either way.

What bugs me is when there's no pickguard, and they have a face-mounted jack. That's just ugly, like on that recent MZ run. ...To each his own, though.

Put a one hum pickguard on there and I'd like it a lot better.

Not really a fan of Govan... he's just so... generic.
