Yeah the pickups are very powerful but I am using a JMP 50 watt circuit so the boost is nice. I do like the Super 3 but it is kind of dark so I think I will try the Super Distortion I have here just to see if it gets a few more highs.

Yeah that Super3 is somewhat like a Duncan CC, perhaps a bit less creamy, it did do wonders in my RR1 though (a different SD3, I couldn't mesh with the JB, and figured from the Sup3 In the San Dimas, this may just be the right P'up to do it)

Koa is hard to beat, on any guitar. Love that wood.
