Good eye, TJ. Interesting choice now, given they seem to have gone nearly all-in with the wheel at the butt end of the neck recently. Even the MIMs are like that now. I'm not complaining, though. I know it's not OK with some SD era purists, but that's my preferred approach. The wheel is cool, too, but I'm not so much a fan of how it alters the look of the neck. Mind you, none of the truss rod approaches would stop me from buying a cool guitar, though. LOL. And hopefully these are cool whatever they are.Comment

Given the lack of 'custom shop' logo in that pic (they tend to push that if it is a CS guitar), I'd bet it is some sort of USA production model. It would make sense as that does seem a hole in the range...Popular is not the same as good
