This is almost like a "sequel" to the USA Pro-Mods.

The USA Pro-Mods were mostly HH with maple boards and retailed for ~$1000. The USA Select Series are mostly HSS with rosewood boards and will likely be priced higher than today's ~$1000 Mexican Pro-Mods. Yikes.

Wonder if the USA Select Series So-Cal is routed HSH underneath the pickguard like the [any country] Pro-Mod So-Cals are.

The photos posted so far don't really show closeups of the pickups, but the plum San Dimas Style 1 looks to have DiMarzio single coils and the black San Dimas Style 2 looks to have at least a DiMarzio neck humbucker (no logo, but identifiable polepieces). Hard to tell what all the other guitars have. It's unusual to not find DiMarzio or Seymour Duncan logos on factory guitars but maybe these are just prototypes/teasers and they'll have logos for the actual production run.

Also noticed the pickup switch and volume knobs have swapped locations. Interesting.

Anyone going to Summer NAMM should check these out and report back.

Not sure, but I'm guessing these will be done Fender Am Strat-style in terms of options. If so, yes you will be able to get your choice of maple/rosewood and color on each model. We'll have to wait for full details to know for sure, though.

It will be interesting to see if they use the same serial numbering sequencing as current USA Charvels.

NOTP - if you look at the prior teaser photos, looks like the HT and Tele have Dimarzios and the others possibly unlogo'd Duncans.

Hopefully we get all of these details and pricing soon, though.

I'm sure I'm in the monitory, but that's my preference actually. Not sure why they chose to do it though. Loving the look of the white dimas

Not a fan of the control layout. I use the volume knob a hell of a lot more than I do the selector.

So-Cal with pickguard = tons of mod options.

Confirmed: all models are available with either maple or rosewood f'boards, except the HT is rosewood only.

All colors are available on all models.

Also, all models are Dimarzio PUs. Super Distortion and HS2s on the HSS models, Super Distortion and PAF Pro on the Tele.
