This looks like a "Boogie Bodies" route on that guitar.
I swear by '79, all the bodies had the Charvel electronics route, as they stopped using Boogie Bodies in '78 when Charvel started actually making their own.

That’s an early Charvel route. Early on we called it the boogie route but it is Charvel, just early. The final shape we recognize and call the SanDimas route evolved from the explorers and star bodies.
