Re: THE FINAL 25th ANNIVERSARY THREAD

Trust me, the picture is nice but it really looks *amazing* in person. I'm a PRS dealer and the top on that 25th looks better than just about any 10 Top or Artist Top that I've ever seen on a PRS.

Enjoy it Mike!

#89? that must be the very last one of these 25th Anniversary guitars.
I read somewhere they built 89 Anniversary guitars.

There is no reason to have to defend the new products, since they are certainly as good as the old ones.

The only people I see ripping the new stuff are a few guys who are quickly becoming this generations' version of "pre-CBS strat snobs".

There are great old ones and great new ones, and a bunch of not so great old ones and new ones as well.

i have one major complaint about this guitar.it's that i can't have one.
i was in Matt's Music yesterday noodling around on it, and if you can't make this guitar scream, you probably can't make a girl scream either. i have ropes for everyone who wants to now hang themselves. it's true, this guitar is explosive. buy it, or go hang yourself. where'd you get your personality anyway, in a car crash?-lol
seriously, it is great and i am looking forward to further
creations that i will never be able to buy. they did a great job. black dots would have been better but who the fukk cares? i for one do not. congrats on a job well done
whoever made it. the neck is juicy, as is everything else.
if you can't play it, go practice then. you either smoke, or you get smoked.

ACG, how does it compare to the old '81 original?

Re: THE FINAL 25th ANNIVERSARY THREAD

It doesn't!! Tommy was hanging with me that day,it's a nice axe for sure, but doesn't compare in any way to an 81' original,& in fairness probably shouldn't be compared!!

I played #60 at No.1 in Hamburg today. Great experience, also the first Charvel I ever played... (you won't find many Charvels in Germany I think).

It is definitely a gorgeous guitar, rich unplugged sound, great neck.

And no, I wouldn't shell out so much money for it...
But I'm a metalhead and devoted Jackson player, so I'd rather get a Charvel 750XL used for waaaay less money.

No thanks. I can build one for about $800 and save a ton of money. I'm not in this as a collector, just a player.
