Come by if you´re in the area, get drunk, stoned, listen to metal and play Jacksons all day
*Edit* But how did you know?
Re: Mine, Mine, mine, mine (My First USA Charvel )

I´ve been gassing for a Charvel strathead since about NAMM, and by chance I found one. Loaded, aimed, won the auction, should be here in a few days..
Ok, it´s a reissue, but a good start I think. Price was a bit higher than I expected, but within my limit. Gonna drop in the original Pickups or a JB, then the search for an Explorer continues

According to the auction, the guitar was modified by a 5way switch and then restored back to the 3 mini toggles.
When you receive the guitar, can you please tell me how the restoration is made?
By the way, I have the test report about this guitar from the German Gitarre&Bass magazine. But the report is written as like the author never had this guitar in his own hands. Many facts about the Charvel brand and specs about the guitar itself are wrong. If you like, I can email the report to you.
Re: Mine, Mine, mine, mine (My First USA Charvel )
The restoration is done by filling the slot with a piece of (preferably identical) wood, and then touching up the finish if necessary (which it likely was).
Or do you mean my opinion as to the quality of the work? That I can´t tell you until she´s here. But if it really was Nik Huber that did it, then I shouldn´t have any gripes, his work is on par with mine from what I´ve seen
And a copy of the original test-report would be supercool
Re: Mine, Mine, mine, mine (My First USA Charvel )
Gongrats! That's a great deal. I almost bought that from the store couple of months ago but I really wanted a blue one. I don't think you can get a more quality axe any cheaper. I really love mine - really fat sound for a strat.
I posted pics of mine on Jackson USA forum under "Outside guitar porn" topic.
