Re: Charvel Explorer and Bullseye

that explorer looks great - I had one very similar to that - metallic blue, cream dimarzios (duncans?), rosewood, black headstock, brass v-trem. I got mine at a Veneman Music May-Day sale in '84 or '85 for $300 w/case - I don't remember what I sold it for but I suspect it wasn't near what I'd get for it today

the guitar sounded and played great until you tried to play on the top frets - damn that was nearly impossible with that big fuckin' bolt-on neck joint and the not-quite-deep-enough cutaway.

how's the upper fret access on that?
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Re: Charvel Explorer and Bullseye

Thanks guys. The explorer is nice to play since it has the pointy neck profile that I love. The upper frets can be a bit of a challenge but you can get there.

Yes...this the John jaco explorer that he spent 4 years to make perfect. I have the work order and the original case too.

The bullseye is a genuine body from back in the day. It was refinished by Dan.

I got it as a complete guitar...I am just working on getting the neck set up and stuff.

Thanks again for looking
