Hey Guys,
I am new to the board; old timer charvel guy.
Anyway, the new charvels look cool and very tempting. I am thinking about picking up one of the wild west guitars. I got a quote on the one with the vintage trem for ADMIN EDIT: DON'T POST DEALER PRICES HERE.

My question is:
Do you think that Fender will be able to sustain this business venture at the prices they are asking for these? As we all know, you can usually get an original (pointy) for the $1000 - $1600 range, and up to $2,000 for a really rare one.
As far as I can tell, the only thing that justifies their price is the fact that you can order a custom guitar now (wood, color, graphic, etc), however, when it comes down to it, I would think that most people would opt for an original when you are looking at comparable prices (in excess of $1500).
Thanks,
SCV {Stefan (Craig) Vaughn}
