  • Opinion wanted Double Creme or Double Black Duncan

I'm still not sure which one I like.
(I do know that the chrome Dtuner looks bad....but I need it there. I plan to start playing live with it a bit.)

Cream looks OK, but the black fits in better with the color scheme. If it was a maple board, I'd say cream.

Cream is more visible and gives the finish a lighter hue overall, whereas black matches the board and tremolo (blends in) and gives the finish a darker hue.

                    Try swapping the pickup rings.

Cream. It looks better, but the black is Ok. I like the painted head stock. Nice ax.

The cream just doesn't look right on that guitar. But, then again, I have never liked cream pickups. So, naturally, my vote would be for black!

For that guitar and when I asssume it was built, I would say creme. Looks great either way though.
