Charvel 25th Anniv. Pickup???

Any opinions on the Seymour Duncan 78 pickup in the new 25th Anniversary models. Is it like a Super Distorion hot wound pickup?? Any 25th Anniv. owners tried different pickups in this model??

I have a duncan ´78 in one of my strats, and it´s anything but hot. more like a slightly overwound P.A.F.. But the tone through a cranked plexi is EVH heaven [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

IMO,the 25th Anniv. pickup is more like a 59/PAF humbucker,sweet tone & it cleans up nicely when you back off the guitars volume but it's not a Super-Distortion type high gain humbucker at all!!Chucksplatter
