Re: Charvel Bullseye

"As for the FMIC and Jackson people that post here, you might want to get a map of the USA and find Scottsdale Arizona and Corona California, then figure out how far away from Corona McD and Morgan are, being that they're in Arizona."

Duh!! I thought it was a 20 minute drive. Common.

They have no telephones? no email? the right hand does not know what the left does? If that's the case... bad news boys.
No travel back and forth for productin meetings, mktg. strategies, etc.
My understanding is that getting the Charvel line up and running is a top priority at FMIC, name recognition, Custom Shop and the Std. MIA line.
No biggie here....

I doubt they'd get fired over a simple paint screw-up - if that was the case, then we'd hafta wait another year for the JCF02s because of the clearcoat issue

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't speak to anything about the JCF-02s, I seemed to have lost my slot without being told.

But the whole thing is about running a shop. If you got guys who screw up a guitar or two, sure you won't fire them, but they'll be walking around the shop without an ass. If you've got say 50 or more being screwed up by the guy, you'd obviously and quickly work him out of the business.

Re: Charvel Bullseye

I know Eddy, I saw that and thought immediately of the original stratheadcahrvel post when he got his.
Right after his post I called my dealer and he could not tell me anything. He said "huh?".... "maybe they are shipping"...

My dealer mentioned that they were suppose to be getting them by the end of the month, that is August. That is about now. Unless they will run it all the way to the 31 st.

Then again we've been told that story since late May.

I couldn't see it not intonating just being off a 16th. It's 25 1/4" from the nut to the posts and there is plenty of room for adjustment on a floyd rose.

That guitar does NOT come with a Floyd Rose.

Joe, sorry for the tardy response. I actually considered cancelling the order. We're buying a new house and the extra $$$ would come in handy. I mean, May, then June, then August......whatever! So I called Matt, who rep'd that the down would have to be foreited since it's a "custom" order that FMIC would not credit the store for, and Matt would be "stuck" w/ additional inventory. so.... well, suffice to say that I've not yet cancelled.

And I did receive this from Matt today:

"The word from Jackson is that Bullseye's are in final
assembly
right now and should begin shipping to dealers in the next few days."

So, they definitely are coming!

Cool Eddy,
My concern is that in Jackson/FMIC's world "next few days" means weeks.
We've heard this before haven't we?

A quote from an email from a friend of mine involved:

"The situation with Jackson for the rest of the year is build to order. The Charvel will probably be here in the next 30 days if all goes well."
