I'm definitely NOT on FMIC's "poop" list and I placed my original order at the NAMM show in mid January. How Wild West got theirs before me if they placed their order after me is a damn good question. I just called Jackson to check out the status and got a message that they're closed until Tuesday. I'll post on this thread Tuesday after I speak to my inside sales guy.

ditto from Los Angeles as well!!! Oh BTW, I've heard that WW pays $$$ up front to get inventory. I don't know whether this is true (it's certainly not a prudent business practice). you guys are going to absolutely love these guitars. the neck is extremely close to an early 80's strathead. also, the 'evh' pickup is so awesome. the disclaimer on the back of the headstock is kind of stupid. i like the nos brass knob and strap buttons that arent shiny, but have the worn feel like an older guitar.

OK, well I'll know and report in about 5 days. I just made the final payment to Matt, and he's shipping the unopened box back here to Los Angeles in a couple hours (unopened so that all the temperature issues won't effect the neck, etc.). So, thanks to Shawn, and especially Jose (Joe_Steeler) for being emotional sounding boards, and helping me to cope w/ the delays. Patience, as you can tell, is a BIG weakness for me [img]/images/graemlins/baby.gif[/img] - just ask Matt!!!
