The Marc Ferrari Cammo Charvel

I have been lucky enough to be in contact with Marc Ferrari recently, and when I saw the post earlier about someone on here knowing someone that owns one of his actual guitars, I was hoping that it had re-surfaced after being stolen from him in 1987.
In fact the strat head guitar pictured in the "success" picture is a copy of the one he had stolen. After all these years he says that he would like to have the original pointy head Charvel Cammo back, and would gladly pay a randsom/reward for it's return...no questions asked.

I'll be glad to help any way possible to reunite a long lost owner with his lost Charvel.

Badseed's camo is the copy mutt from the ad...nobody has raised their hand claiming posession of the pointy.

Sorry guys but you are WRONG! LOL.Mine is the guitar his charvel was copy of .He and bryan Jay were waiting for there charvels to be finished(twilight zone and camo copy) when the photo session for the charvel/jackson ad was done.nO doubt that the copy was refined somewhere down the line, or it will remain in hiding to not get in trouble.I got mine from marc so it would make sense that i dont have the stolen one.Make sense?lol ask Tim ROSE if there are any other questions.hahaha.
BTW, Marc is a super cool guy and its totally cool that you got to talk to him.His book is a great read and his new success is amazing,Proof that hard work and dedication can take you anywhere!

So there is no confusion, the guitar in the ad marc is holding is a warmoth parts guitar that he painted himself.It is NOT a charvel, which makes no difference to me since i wanted that guitar for decades.I even contacted GMW to make me a copy of it two months before it appeared on ebay.I got it from marc for $200 less then the gmw wouldve cost.I also specified that i wanted a floyd instead of a kahler.Marcs guitar was already modded that way since '86.SO I got the mod i wanted and the original guitar...not bad, not bvad at all!!!

It's so cool that you landed a guitar that you have always wanted. And from such a great guy like Marc to boot.
I wish all buyers coiuld be as happy as you are with this.

Sorry I got my story crossed on what was a copy of what.
It's been a few beers since I heard it the first time!

I have been saying it for a year , but yes, i am on it.My drummer has the camera.For some reason, the cheap digital i bought doesnt have the correct software to download the pics from the camera.I have went to the cameras web site and downloaded the "correct" software, but still nothing.Jeff said to come over thursday to take the pics, ill post them that night.I switched the EMG that marc had in it to a Bill Lawerence.Thats what it had originally(thanks CHuck X).I want to put it back to a kahler since thats what it also had on it back in the keel days.It was originally a v-trem.It is still the coolest guitar ever!
