12th fret dots look a little wide for a charvel...but hard to tell...pic is kinda small...cool looking guitar tho...what is the graphic?...d.m.

smaller top bout, bowling ball finish, spread 12th fret dots - definitely NOT a Charvel.

I'm sure it's a Tom anderson. It's just like one I owned in the early 90s.

Actually, that finish is known as the "vaginal blood fart" graphic. It's kind of funny, back in '85/'86, I was attending Montana State and a bunch of guys in the dorm used to use the term "VBF" all the time. It got to be one of those catch phrases we always used. So I used the term once when I first joined the board here after not hearing it for years. Then last week, another member used it and then I noticed it another time a day or two later. Isn't it kinda weird how something some college freshmen said out of habit almost 20 yrs ago can come back around to be said by other people in a totally different geographical region 20 yrs later....I find it totally bizarre. Sorry, I got off topic. I think the guitar looks killer.

It's a Tom Anderson. The paint job is called Red Cloud. And the guy in the photo sold the guitar in 1991 or 1992 at a place called Sound Lab in Hollywood CA. He's looking to buy it back, if it still exists. His website is www.oneflightupguitars.com That photo is posted there.

I agree that does look like the early Tom Anderson guitars maybe back when he was selling parts.
