Re: Neck Plate Schematics/Pics
What's a neck plate schematic?
As a new member, first off, welcome to the forum. I think you'll find us a very cool bunch, but we are close knit. Perhaps filling out some of the info about yourself in the profile would get more people more interested in helping you out? Furthermore, maybe a "Hello" post, telling us who you are, where you are, what you've done and want to do. There are a lot of very knowledgable folks here to access for info if done right.

This is more or less the reason I hadn´t answered as well, especially with neckplates starting to go through the roof. And it does seem suspicious, only asking about the neck plate..... No offense meant, it´s just that most "newbies" ask us to identify whole guitars, rarely parts, and VERY rarely something as obvious and coveted as the neckplate.....
You should be able to find dozens of photos in the gallery and on the sites of members, most of them have links in their sig

Re: Neck Plate Schematics/Pics
SteveVai,
That's like asking us to give you the knife to cut our own throats. The members of this forum are the ones that are most likely to suffer the fallout from a flood of forged San Dimas neckplates. Whether it's getting ripped off on eBay or whether it takes the bottom out of the market or whatever.
I'm sure people looked at your post and said WTF?
