I understand the desire for a 3-D plate, they do look great. Though these are still some really great playing and sounding axes even with the etched neck plate.

OK, so I get home from work and the UPS driver is just leaving my house after having dropped of the new git. He says the truck has been cold all day and it's like 38-40 degrees here in Boston. Soooo...looks like I have to wait a while for this sucker to warm up before I take it out of the box. Maybe I'll kick the dog or run around the neighborhood for an hour...
