I just bought my first guitar ever with a 1 3/4" nut. After playing it for a few days I have to say I'm liking it more and more. This guitar may have ruined me on 1 11/16 for ever.

I'm considering getting a neck made with a 1 3/4 nut for a project. It seems lately I'm all sausage fingers and that the wider string spacing might help. -

FWIW I've only experienced this spacing for a few days but I don't think I would like it as much on a low radius neck. On the Charvel I just got (I think it's a 12" radius) it's quite nice.Comment

I have to agree with you.
I have been playing the heck out of the Bullseye retro and the 1 3/4" feels great.

In most cases if you play the same guitar you'll find that that's what you'll get used to. 1 3/4" is my favorite nut width, but I could get used to playing a 1 5/8" nut width if I connected with the guiatr.Comment
