Blue & white striped VH II

here is 1505 circa 1989 when it had a nail polish splatter paint job over the blue/white...

Mike, are you saying that the blue & white stripes were underneath the nail polish, and that was the original graphic?

the blue and white was original...my buddy got the guitar in early 83...i bought it from him in 86, scalloped it, added a 2nd hum,uprouted the trem, and let some stripper chicks help me cover it in nail polish, in about 1999 I stripped it to the wood and stuck it in a closet. then metalcop coerced me into selling it in 2003 and he had it restored to it's original state as you see it now and I had to have it back! i almost wish i had left the nail polish cuz it was super unique. but is is really cool to see it this way now too!

Cool story...GREAT looking guitar! I'm now going to build one with a single HB, Floyd, maple neck, Strathead, but with an aqua blue w/white stripes, and the typical VH II pattern. It'll be done by Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration!
