That's awesome!! I was hoping someone would buy one of them and share it on the JCF. You'll have to let us know if any special "case candy" comes with it or not. And don't worry about anyone giving you a hard time. Hell, I'd buy one if I could afford it!
Congrats!!

I think that is awesome. If I could buy one of Ace Frehley's guitars from the 70's (the cool smoking or light up one) I would sell my kidney, my left nut, my wife, my house...and everything else (except the kids!).
Alright, I got the guitar about 15 minutes ago. Popped it open grabbed it and plugged it in. Guitar was tuned to E flat. I wonder if these are the original strings? Anyways it has a nice chuncky neck on it definately not an SD or Jackson neck more of a Les Paul 59 neck, just not as thick. It wouldn't come up in the pictures, but there is alot of pick marks and what looks like splashes of beeer on the guitar. Will I clean it dont' know. At 1st my intention was to play this, (never out of the house), but now that I have it I think I might display it.. Hmmm decisions desicions. Oh well what I do think is cool is the case with the EVH in White. I have a friend who bought one also and his case didn't have that, so I guess it something that comes with the newer guitars. Also I was given the option of getting some pghotos of Eddie playing this guitar, but I have to sign a waiver to recieve them, stating that I will not use the photos in any business manner of display the photos in any way except for the resell of the guitar. So when I get it I don't think I can scan it and add it to my website. Oh well, it there are any paticular areas you guys would like pictures of, let me know and I'll take em and post em. Just wanted to get some quick pics up for now.
if that neck is like the one on my production model, which it appears to be, then i personally feel no resemblence to a 59 Gibson Les Paul. more music man-ish. wolfgang-ish...
those are cool pics, very cool piece of history...
