who makes what??

who makes the model A, journeyman and traditional series??...who makes the evh art series, san dimas series??jackson (using the charvel name), wayne charvel (with his original name on the headstock) or has a deal been struck between the two to produce these? or is it a totaly different entity all together?? :confused:

Wayne Charvel sold the original company plus rights for "Charvel Manufacturing" to Grover Jackson in 1978 (who eventually created "Charvel/Jackson", now owned by Fender. This is why Wayne Charvels are sold as "Wayne" and not Charvel - he sold the rights to the name before things really got going (in fact the current Wayne Charvel Guitars have only been around for a few years - he was working for other guitar companies for most of the last 25 years).

With the possible exception of the original EVH VH1 B&W strat (and maybe the VHII B&Y - there is a lot of crap on the internet on who did what when when it comes to these guitars and at this point it is hard to know who is telling the truth - Eddie says he did all the work himself and just got the parts from Charvel and I have read that Wayne claims that he was the man behind the guitars?!?!!?), Wayne Charvel did not have anything to do with any of the famous Charvels which are out there (like the Holdsworth, Lynch, DeMartini models etc).
