He played the solo on Creatures of the night by Kiss (1982). He was offered the gig before it was offered to Vinnie Vincent, but Steve turned it down. Kiss used that album as an audition for different guitarists.

Chuck, he was makin money.I bet he still recieves royalties from the mr mister stuff.Had he taken the kiss gig, he wouldve been salary only.

Here is a link of him playing with Christopher Cross in 2001. He's the guy in the background. I'm guessing he's just a hired gun now. I know he played with Tori Amos a few years back..

One of my friends went on tour with him as a guitar tech during the first Mr Mister tour. He seemed like a very nice guy.

You guys should take a listen to parts of Mr Mister's GO ON album. Really out angular stuff in the guitar dept...almost King Crimson esque with lotsa Harmonizer..very creative player.

He'll pop up at a odd L.A. club every once in awhile.
