New Standard San Dimas vs Retro Bullseye

I was looking around but I could not find a comparison/review of how the new Standard San Dimas measures up with the Retro Bullseye. Has anybody had chance to do a side by side comparison of the two?

Well the red and white one has a 1 3/4 nut width and the new San Dimas sport the 1 11/16 nut. I've heard they feel like the black and white bullseyes

I'd get the SD Standard,neck shape is closer to the originals!!

splatter is right - the neck profiles are almost identical.

it all boils down to what you want.

Thanks for the input guys. It sounds like the new standards are much closer to the originals than the bullseyes.

lol...the bullseyes neck profile is based on a strathead charvel made in san dimas...hence the 1 3/4" nut...does it feel like an original charvel?...you bet...just not a pointy head s.d....2 different beasts completely...d.m.

I've played several of the new stratheads & imo they are NOT like an original SD strathead profile,they feel just like a 90's Fender HM strat or B.C. Rich Gunslinger profile!!
The pointy neck profile IS just like an original SD pointy profile!!
